Parking Tickets

Minnehaha County issues parking tickets for violations of county parking ordinances on county grounds. There are four different types of tickets that may be issued for any such violations. You may use one of the following steps in order to take care of your Minnehaha County Parking ticket:

Payment:

1. Pay online through Court Money with a credit/debit card. For this option, you will need the ticket number and last name of the registered owner of the vehicle. If you have more than one Minnehaha County parking ticket to take care of and choose this option, you will have to do a separate transaction for each one. There is an additional fee for each transaction. PAY ONLINE
2. Bring cash, in-state check, money order or credit/debit card to the Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office located at 320 W 4th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57104. If using a credit/debit card there is an additional processing fee.
3. Mail in-state check or money order to the Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office at 320 W 4th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57104.

Dispute:

If you wish to dispute the parking ticket for any reason, it must be done so within 10 days of the issuance of the ticket. You can dispute your parking ticket by doing one of the following:

1. If you are a party to a court case, witness, juror, attorney, court interpreter, etc. and you wish to dispute your Minnehaha County Parking ticket, take the ticket to the Minnehaha County Court Administration office.
